JOB DESCRIPTION – STRUCTURAL LEAD Position: Structural Lead Location: Vadodara, Gujarat Experience: 14+ Years Industry: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Structural Lead with strong expertise in Oil & Gas engineering projects. Candidates must have mandatory experience in Brownfield Oil & Gas projects, with proven capabilities in structural engineering design, analysis, modifications, revamp projects and engineering team leadership. Key Responsibilities - Lead Structural Engineering activities for Oil & Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical projects. - Manage structural engineering deliverables for Brownfield projects, including revamp, modification and expansion works. - Lead structural analysis and design of steel structures, pipe racks, equipment platforms, access platforms and support structures. - Review and assess existing structures for additional loads, modifications and equipment installations. - Lead structural integrity assessments and strengthening design of existing structures. - Review and approve structural design calculations, drawings and technical documents. - Provide technical guidance to structural engineers and designers. - Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Process, Electrical and Civil engineering disciplines. - Handle client interactions, technical discussions and resolution of engineering queries. - Review vendor documents, technical specifications and engineering deliverables. - Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, project specifications and quality standards. - Manage engineering schedules, resource planning and deliverable quality. Technical Skills Required - Structural Engineering Design and Analysis. - Mandatory Brownfield Oil & Gas Project Experience. - Structural Steel Design and Connection Design. - Existing Structure Assessment and Structural Modifications. - Structural Strengthening and Reinforcement Design. - Pipe Rack and Equipment Support Design. - Industrial Platforms, Access Structures and Pipe Supports. - Structural Design Calculations and Technical Reviews. - STAAD.Pro. - Knowledge of AISC, ACI, ASCE, Eurocodes and applicable project standards. - Engineering Team Management and Client Coordination. Educational Qualification B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Experience Requirements - 14+ years of relevant Structural Engineering experience. - Mandatory Brownfield experience in Oil & Gas projects. - Strong experience in Refinery / Petrochemical / Industrial projects. - Experience in FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering. - Proven experience in leading structural engineering teams and managing project deliverables. - Ability to independently handle technical reviews and client coordination. Work Location:Vadodara, Gujarat Important Requirement Brownfield Oil & Gas project experience is mandatory. Candidates with strong experience in existing facility modifications, revamp, structural assessment and strengthening works will be preferred.
