JOB DESCRIPTION – STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Position: Structural Engineer Location: Chennai & Pune Experience: 6–20 Years Industry: Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical Employment Type: Full-Time / Permanent Notice Period: Immediate to 30 Days Preferred Job Overview We are looking for experienced Structural Engineers with strong expertise in structural analysis, design and engineering for Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical and Industrial projects. Candidates should have hands-on experience in structural steel and concrete design, engineering calculations, technical documentation and multidisciplinary coordination. ### Key Responsibilities - Perform structural analysis and design for Oil & Gas and industrial projects. - Design steel structures, pipe racks, equipment platforms, access platforms and support structures. - Perform structural analysis and design of RCC structures and foundations. - Prepare and review structural design calculations and technical reports. - Handle equipment foundations, pipe supports and industrial structural systems. - Review structural drawings, GA drawings and connection details. - Perform structural load calculations and stability checks. - Coordinate with Piping, Mechanical, Process, Electrical and other engineering disciplines. - Review vendor drawings and technical documents. - Ensure compliance with applicable international codes, standards and project specifications. - Support FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering activities. - Coordinate with clients and multidisciplinary engineering teams. Technical Skills Required - Structural Analysis and Design. - Structural Steel Design and RCC Design. - Pipe Rack and Equipment Support Design. - Industrial Steel Structures and Platforms. - Equipment Foundation Design. - Structural Connection Design. - Structural Design Calculations and Technical Documentation. - STAAD.Pro / SAP2000 or equivalent structural analysis software. - Knowledge of AISC, ACI, ASCE, Eurocodes and applicable project standards. - Multidisciplinary Engineering Coordination. Educational Qualification - B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering. Experience Requirements - 6–20 years of relevant Structural Engineering experience. - Experience in Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical projects preferred. - Experience in FEED, Basic and Detailed Engineering. - Strong knowledge of structural analysis, design and engineering deliverables. - Ability to independently handle structural design calculations and technical reviews. Work Locations: Chennai & Pune Preferred Experience - Brownfield and Greenfield Oil & Gas projects. - Refinery and Petrochemical projects. - Industrial structural design and foundation engineering.
